AutoForm FEA Simulation Die Cad Group, a Tooling Tech Group company, is a global tooling service provider that offers comprehensive engineering and manufacturing solutions to OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and tool shops. One of our core fields of expertise is utilizing AutoForm software to run finite element analysis simulations to determine feasibility, material usage, required concessions, spring back compensation, tonnage, and tool processing requirements. We have three full-time simulation technicians dedicated to collaborating directly with our customers to develop part and process solutions. Our process involves reviewing, predicting, planning, processing, and validating along with offering recommendations to enhance product and tool design. By integrating our forming results into the tools, we reduce tryout time for our customers, leading to faster project completion. Upon completing a simulation, we provide: - Developed CAD surfaces for the form tools - AutoForm file - All the simulation exports required to generate a strip. (Developed blank, trims, pierce curves, and formed part draw in line’s) - Simulation report and movie files of the process - If compensation is required, we will work with our customer to develop altered forming skins.
